Call for Papers

The editors welcome manuscripts based on original research or significant reexamination of existing literature. All manuscripts submitted should not have been published elsewhere and should have been proofread by a native speaker of English. We do, however, accept English translations of previously published works. Manuscripts should be in the range of 6,000 to 9,000 words. Accepted papers should follow the citation style recommended in The Chicago Manual of Style, 15th ed. (University of Chicago Press).sd The author-date system is also acceptable. Only electronic submissions are accepted. The review process takes approximately two months.

Book reviews, reports on academic conferences and comparative papers on other Asian (especially Southeast Asian) countries are also welcome.
